Reverse Module

Sometimes RSS feeds are ordered by publication date, alphabetically, or by other criteria and you need to arrange them differently. With Yahoo Pipes, the Reverse Module simply reverses the order the feed is in.

In this example, we’ll take a look at a Google feed of the latest news regarding the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.

Reverse Module

Our feed is in order of the most recent articles to the oldest. All of the most recent news articles surrounding the Olympics have to do with the closing ceremonies (the most recent), but we want our feed to start with the oldest articles so we get some views of the Olympics while they we were happening. We can use the Reverse Module to reverse our feed order.

The Reverse Module is very simple. Its only function is to reverse the order of a feed. Here’s what our feed will look like after we connect it to the Reverse Module:
